Formed way back in 1995, Black Rose has a long history of performing the music of Thin Lizzy across Scotland and beyond, including Dublin headline appearances at both The Bash for Philo and The Vibe for Philo.

Black Rose are proud to deliver an extremely authentic sound, playing songs from every era of the bands history, from the classics to the early 80’s. In 2023 we also played some special gigs to recognise the bands epic live album and recreated Live & Dangerous in its entirety. We are focused on re-creating the live sound of Irelands most iconic rock band.

True to the Lizzy way of life, band members have come and gone, and re-joined, over the years. However, Black Rose always stays true to the sound of Thin Lizzy, no parodies, no backing tracks, just a passion for the music.
