Ceòl Beag is a contemporary three piece band consisting of fiddle/caller, guitar/percussion and bass. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly service to all of our customers and making sure we do the best we can to make your event memorable.

Don't be concerned if your guests have never ceilidh’d before - we know how to get everyone up and dancing, even if it's their first time! Our experienced caller knows how to make the dances easy!

We have performed for a wide variety of events including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, corporate events, graduation balls, charity events, as well as for holidays such as Christmas parties, Hogmanay parties, Burns’ Night, St. Andrew's Day… whatever your event, we are delighted to bring the ceilidh.

CEÒL BEAG is a professional multi-instrumental band. 
We are all experienced musicians and have played at many events together as a band over the years.

Our popular 3-person ceilidh line-up is fiddle/caller, bass & guitar/percussion.
For a larger band sound, we can add an additional fiddler, piano and lowland or highland pipes to the line-up.

Our contemporary, upbeat style will have your guests up and dancing in no time!

Alison, our caller walks everyone through the dance steps to ensure everybody has an equally great fun time, so you and your guests won't need to be concerned about knowing how to ceilidh, even first-timers!

We know that booking the right band can be a bit of a gamble, so please have a look at our media and get in touch if our style meets your requirements. The band has public liability insurance and all our electrical equipment has a current PAT test certificate.
We are fully confident that if you choose us, you and your guests will have a great fun ceilidh.

We are very flexible and happy to work with you to provide exactly what you want from the band and offer various options for your event needs, however if you have a specific request, please get in touch.

Our genre is principly Scottish traditional and classical, but we can adapt to most styles of music (for example we recently played fo a Jewish wedding). Our style is up-beat and lively.

We are a busy band and regularly play at ceilidhs, St. Andrew’s Day, Burn’s Night, Hogmanay, birthday parties, weddings and corporate events and frequently include disco dancing after the ceilidh. 

As a professional band, our equipment is to the highest standard and fully PAT tested. We use a professional digital PA system as well as computer controlled lighting equipment to make the music sound great and the dancefloor look great!
