i was born and raised in Kinshasa, DRC, in a Christian home. i started singing at the age of 8 and writing songs from the age of 14. in my teenage years i was influenced by Michael Jackson and Phil Collins but due to my Christian upbringing i was more inclined to writing gospel songs. in 2004 at the age of 23, i relocated to Manchester where i pursued my acting career and then later on in Salford University i studied Popular Music and Performance where i graduated in 2014. my debut album entitled "You are my Lord" was released in 2011 featuring 7 tracks, then came my second album "Destiny" in 2021 with 12 tracks and in 2024 i released an album compilation "Holy Spirit" the best of Désiré N. Winner, featuring 18 tracks.
