ABOUT US
We are DVI DOLI — a Ukrainian duo
devoted to preserving and sharing the
soul of our homeland through music.
The name DVI DOLI means Two
Destinies, reflecting both our personal
stories and our shared journey of
bringing Ukrainian culture to the
world stage.
Julia Kogut-Kalynyuk (lyrical soprano)
and Kateryna Trachuk (lyrical-dramatic
soprano) are classically trained
musicians from Lviv. We hold Master’s
degrees in bandura and voice from the
Lviv National Music Academy named
after Mykola Lysenko. Since childhood,
the bandura has been our voice, our
anchor, and our bridge to others.
Since arriving in the UK in 2022, we’ve
performed at venues such as the
Sheldonian Theatre, Marylebone
Theatre, and colleges across Oxford,
including Somerville, Balliol, and
Holywell Music Room. Our music has
also reached audiences in London,
Cambridge, Leeds, York, and beyond
— each performance a tribute to our
heritage and a heartfelt invitation into
Ukrainian folk.
