Why Book Frog on a Bike?

- A genuine local band: We are the real deal. An established fixed line-up that plays together all the time, not a freelance agency in disguise which draws from a pool of musicians scattered across the UK.

- Big folk-rock sound: Our experienced folk musicians deliver a massive, driving rhythm.

- Self-composed music: We feature two talented tune-smiths and play a wealth of original material.

- Professional Dance Callers we know and trust : For every booking we bring a patient, expert and exciting caller to guide dancers of all skill levels.

We live to play foot-stomping tunes with verve and vigour. Unlike agency bands that mix and match random musicians, our fixed line-up guarantees a tight, high-quality performance every time. Our distinctively big folk-rock sound makes us the perfect choice for high-energy and important celebrations.

Our repertoire is deeply rooted in the folk music of the British Iles. We seamlessly blend our own self-composed tunes with traditional English, Scottish, and Irish music. We usually include plenty of driving Scottish favourites, making us the ideal choice to play a mean Burns Night ceilidh too.

Whether it be for a party, wedding, festival or corporate event, we can’t wait to entertain you!
