Back in 2012 Terry & Liz Martin joined forces with a friend to create an 80's centric covers band. When he left them in 2019 their repertoire was half covers and half originals, but they decided to concentrate on their own songwriting and changed their name to Hedgehog Reality; Edge of Reality being taken by at least six other bands. Their sense of humour doesn't detract from some serious issues in their songs which, with influences from across the decades, covers a mixture of genres, but all with a melodic basis. Though a duo they use a programmed drum machine with pre-recorded loops to make their sound comparable to a full band, so don't expect slow acoustic numbers, but don't be surprised if one appears between a grungy sci-fi trip and an uplifting self-penned anthem.
