We are Jane and the Hurricanes, a five-piece electric blues and rhythm & blues band, with a diverse performance set that fuses traditional blues classics with modern blues-rock, upbeat R&B rhythms, and original tracks. Jane’s husky vocal style anchors our melodies with plenty of attitude and our music heavily showcases raw, gritty saxophone leads intertwined with rock-tinged guitar hooks, driven by a powerhouse rhythm section of deep basslines and driving drums.

Our mix of music has songs from Creedance Clearwater Revival, Dr. Feelgood, Beth Hart/Joe Bonamassa, Martin Harley, Karen Lovely, Stevie Wonder, Sonny Boy Williamson, Aynsley Lister, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Doors, Mike Zito, Rolling Stones/Papa Chubby, Van Morrison, Slim Harpo, Neil Young, Freddie King, Koko Taylor and Jethro Tull together with some original numbers.

We are all seasoned musicians, and I know your customers would like us…we appeal to a broad range of people and are regularly rebooked at festivals and venues across the North Midlands and North West. Also we will be appearing at The Tenby Blues Festival for the second time in November. We are flexible on fees, and have an excellent P.A. system available.
