I’m John Johnson, a DJ and presenter with a career spanning back to the 1980s. That depth of experience gives me a broad and instinctive understanding of music across genres and eras, allowing me to deliver both versatile, multi-format sets and specialist shows with equal confidence.

Alongside my multi-genre work, I also present HI-FI & 45s™, a vinyl-led DJ roadshow focused on classic funk, soul and disco, built around records, authentic audio systems and the music that defined the dancefloor.

Alongside DJing, my background in broadcasting has shaped a confident and polished presenting style, ensuring every event is delivered with clarity, control and professionalism.
