Primal Resonance is a contemporary didgeridoo and percussion project exploring rhythm, resonance and the raw physicality of sound.

Led by didgeridoo player James Sibley and joined by percussionist and multi-instrumentalist Dave Croughan, performances combine contemporary didgeridoo, driving rhythms, cajón, hand percussion and diddley bow. Drawing on improvisation as well as structured pieces, each performance develops in response to the space, audience and musicians in the moment.

Primal Resonance brings an unusual, energetic and atmospheric sound to festivals, private events, community gatherings and other live settings, offering audiences something both ancient in character and distinctly contemporary.
