Richard Hurford is a pianist and composer whose playing moves effortlessly between lyrical jazz ballads, soulful blues and funk-infused improvisation. Drawing inspiration from classic piano trios as well as modern jazz innovators, he brings warmth, imagination and a strong sense of groove to the band’s sound.

On bass, Martin Fox provides a deep, steady foundation and a wonderfully melodic approach that shapes the trio’s feel. His musical instincts and subtle interplay give every tune a sense of balance and flow.

Roger Boddy, on drums, brings energy, taste and swing in equal measure. His rhythmic sensitivity and light touch create space for the trio to stretch out while keeping the pulse driving forward.

Their debut album, In Good Company, captures the trio’s natural chemistry and relaxed musical spirit. It also features some special guests: the soulful Jacqui Heron on vocals, versatile Paul Hilder on voice and guitar, and expressive saxophonist Nick Rabin.
