BIOGRAPHY:

Sam Jones is a British singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and recording artist with a career spanning several decades. His solo live set features a diverse cross-section of original material from his extensive catalogue, as well as retro covers ranging from Nancy Sinatra, Marianne Faithfull to Ramones, New Order and Depeche Mode. Known for his distinctive crooner-to-shout vocal style and expressive acoustic, electric, and slide guitar work, Sam brings raw energy and authenticity to every performance. He has independently booked, financed, and promoted four solo European tours, playing numerous mini-tours across the Netherlands, France, Belgium, and Poland. He has performed in many of London’s iconic venues and major European cities including Liverpool, Berlin, Prague, Kraków, Tilburg, Dublin, Paris, and Brussels. His gigs have also taken him to unique locations like the restored ghost town of Bussana Vecchia in Italy. In 2024, Sam began playing weekend shows at pubs across England and Wales, backed by a work-in-progress covers album. Whether fronting his various band incarnations or performing solo, he has shared the stage with notable acts including UK Subs, Sham 69, and The Coral.
