Profile

THE FUZE
London-based pop-rock artist and band with a bold, anthemic sound

The Fuze is both artist and bandleader – a London pop-rock singer/songwriter and rhythm guitarist set to hit the festival circuit with an experienced group of musicians, engaging the audience with dynamic anthems of empowerment. The Fuze is joined by lead guitarist Matt Backer – best-known for his tenure with eighties hitmakers ABC, as well as touring with many a-list artists – respected bassist Gaston Amaro, and Dan Western, who has drummed for the likes of Belinda Carlisle and Paul Young. Backing The Fuze are three female singers/dancers whose tight harmonies underpin the frontman’s potent message.

The Fuze is equally-prepared for larger stages, his band capable of expanding to embrace keyboards, brass section and cello. This augmented line-up is viewed in its pomp on the accompanying promotional videos.

The Fuze has played since childhood, his influences ranging from The Beatles and Bowie to contemporary musicians like Flaming Lips and MGMT. His message is one of unity, The Fuze being a vocal advocate for equality and justice: the songs showcased here – Universal Tribe, Change is Alright and We Only Have Now – stand testament to this, representing the opening tracks of The Fuze’s forthcoming album (to be released in 2027).

These powerful melodies will resonate instantly with festival-goers – and stay with them long after the show.
