The Publicans
Profile
The Publicans serve up a raucous, foot-stomping cocktail of Irish Folk and English Indie—a sound that’s as smooth as a pint of stout and as lively as a Saturday night singalong. The set is a crowd-pleasing mix of classic Irish tunes, beloved folk anthems, and folky twists on modern hits, guaranteed to get the room singing, dancing and smiling.
Whether it’s a bustling pub, a festival stage, or a rowdy party. If there’s a crowd to entertain, we’re there to deliver. After all, as the legendary Shane MacGowan once said, “There’s nothing to be gained by a wet thing called a tear.”
The band has a regular monthly show at Flan O’Brien’s in Bath.
Festival bookings this year include: Feast On Festival, South Glos Food Festival, West of England Irish Festival, Melton Mowbray Folk Festival, and BunkFest 2025.
Altogether, The Publicans will play over 100 gigs, festivals, and private parties this year, covering much of the UK.
