ROOTED IN THE BLUES. RAISED ON ROCK.
The Matt Farrow Group is a powerful live blues-rock band bringing together the raw spirit of the blues, the energy of rock ’n’ roll and the excitement of a great guitar-driven live show.
Led by guitarist and songwriter Matt Farrow, MFG performs a carefully chosen mixture of original material and well-known covers, drawing on classic British blues-rock, blues and rock ’n’ roll while giving the music its own identity.
At the heart of the band is a simple philosophy:
Great songs. Great guitar. A great live show.
This isn't about recreating the past or being another nostalgia act. MFG takes the music that inspired us and brings it to the stage with our own sound, energy and attitude.

THE LIVE SHOW
The Matt Farrow Group provides a complete evening of live blues and rock ’n’ roll, designed particularly for intimate and medium-sized live music venues of approximately 50–200 capacity.
Our standard show consists of:
• 2 × 60-minute sets
• A mixture of original MFG material and carefully selected covers
• Blues, blues-rock and rock ’n’ roll
• Guitar-led, energetic live performance
• Professional in-ear monitoring system
• Individual line outputs available for the venue's FOH engineer
• Our own complete front-of-house PA system available when required
• MFG promotion of every booked show
• Support for the venue's own social-media promotion where required

PROFESSIONAL. SELF-CONTAINED. EASY TO WORK WITH.
The Matt Farrow Group understands that putting on a successful live show is a partnership between the artist and the venue.
We arrive prepared, use our own in-ear monitoring system and can provide individual line outputs for the venue's engineer to mix front of house.
Where a suitable house system isn't available, MFG can provide a complete PA system and run front-of-house sound ourselves.
We also believe bands should help bring people through the door.
We actively promote every MFG show through our own online and social-media channels and are happy to work alongside the venue's promotional activity, including providing content for the venue's own social media.
Our aim is simple:
Put on a great show, help make the night successful and give the audience a reason to come back.
