Hi, we're The Ramrods, a 50's rockabilly/rock n roll trio from the East Midlands. We cover some of the more well known rock n roll songs from the likes of Elvis, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins but we also take songs that are not quite so well known but are equally as good.
We are made up of guitar, drums and double bass, the guitarist and drummer share the vocals with the bass player giving backing vocals. The drummer was a founder member of one of the biggest rockabilly trios of the 90's, The Hicksville Bombers and has over 30 years performing experience. The guitarist has also played in some well known bands, The Kingshakes being one.
Our double bass player is in his first band but is an excellent performer nonetheless.
